I going to see the outragous Green Day Tribute band, Basket Case on Friday, Nov 28. They are playing at Frank Cariola's Sundance in Rocky Point, Long Island, NY. Commando (Ramones tribute) also playing.

I think it's talking about death. Because it is something unpredictable. And at the end, everyone hopes you lived your life to the fullest.

well it seems to be a break-up song, the chorus, it's somethign unpredictable, but in the end it's right, I hope you have (or had, I can't tell) the time of your life. Basically, it means that what the 2 will do now is unpredictable, but breaking up was for the best, and they're splitting on good terms. It's weird how it became the last song that cover bands play at high school graduations.
