This is proof that Henson's genius goes far deeper than the Muppets. The Dark Crystal was one of the greatest achievements in cinema history. Henson's story telling is on par with the greatest directors, but will never be recognized with them. Jim, your life was too short. You are missed.

The Muppets were both a blessing and a curse; most people don't know the depth of his artistic genius. This film is only the surface...

I wonder if there was any acid on that sugar cube. You know Jim probibly came up with the muppets in the fit of a major trip. If not the muppets than at least The Dark Crystal. Seriously though Jim Henson deeply effected my childhood and holds a very high place in my spectrum of enjoyables. Rest in Peace Jim.

it's great to have grown up loving this guy for the amazing puppetry/filmmaking and then find that he has this depth of artistic ability, i truly admire his work :)
