I have heard that Mao caused many people in China to think that he was a god. Is this really someone people should admire? He killed more people than Stalin and Hitler. That's the main thing I'm trying to point out. Germans today don't find Hitler to be one of their great historical figures. I can understand what you say about driving out the Japs, except that he couldn't have done it without Americans fighting Japs elsewhere so he claims credit for something he really didn't do.

I should point out that while my tone was nationalist and even hostile before, I am changing it. I will speak for the people who can't speak out against the CCP from now on. I know those people are out there.

Honestly, I think you just hate westerners and non-Chinese which is no way to repay the attempts to protect China from the Japs. That is disgusting that you give lame excuses for a government that the people of China don't like and the same government responsible for the cultural revolution and Tiananmen square. I believe that every government, especially the government of China, needs its people and not the other way around. China doesn't need the CCP to be great, just as America doesn't need Republicans or Democrats, and in fact you are belittling China by saying so. |
