the theory of "origianl version" is not justified, because it is different sequence and different sipirt of dance, different film and different chorepgraphy. Different character given the hero here dreams that the heroine comes and seduces him and he then grabs her (actually his servant in real life). It is supposed to be oompy, anyway..I have seen the one that sridevi did, it was very good.

I probably started off wrong as you said. So I would like to say I have seen films as far back as Uran Khatola and KTLRumal and there is no actress or actor that I do not like. Does that sound weird? It's true! I cannot say whos my fav because they have ALL acted in films that I love. I will not badmouth anyone because they are all my favorites. Just comparing this song with the original version. That's all! Have you seen Sridevi's version. She reminds me of another actress I loved Divya Bharti.

okay leave the topic, I am happy to see the change in your comment, and true that actors cannot be compared really and fans will like there favs. The lesson learnt here is, it is diabolic to come into an iconic song and leave bad comments to promote one's fav.take care.

and as i said there were many other such numbers of other major actresses but as those numnbers were not famous they did not much draw attention for discussion.

yes she is the only one is the sense she has gone above anyone, obviosuly the way you started here you will differ, and that is not the point, the controversy with choli ke peeche was very big, it was about the lyric and even someone went to the court with that, but court cleared the lyric. But there was never about the dance or the chorepgraphy.

This has nothing to do with jealousy. This was actually printed in the film mags at the time these movies aired and even Subhash Ghai had an interview to try and clear up the issue. Madhuri in her own elegant way turned away from all the flak AT THE TIME and rose to iconic status. She is a screen goddess I agree BUT she is not the ONLY one! They all gave their best and will forever remain in the hearts of the fans who loved them. I was only comparing 1 song 2 different versions. Whose is better?

the bottom line is haters and jelous ppl will say things so it does not matter and when someone or something becomes very very famous the activity of jelous and haters becomes more prominent.

no chorepgrapher or director and ever professional critic says bad things about dhak dhak or choli ke peechche because they know the spirit of these two dances and they understand the term dance. At the end of the day they are seductive number or mujra by a calgirl, the chorepgraph was good and madhuri porttrayed them wonderfully with pher perfect moves and epressions. Obviously jealous fans will write bad things which has gone down the drain |
