Indeed it is true that poor and third world people seem much happier than we in the western world. How come we have everything material we wish and still need therapy or prozac? Maybe we forget our problems or don't wish too much or complain when daily life is a struggle just to get the basic needs. I sometimes almost feel ashamed to be born in the wealthy west where many people still are too egocentric. I hope these children get the chances they deserve.

They may be poor but they are very happy children. They all seem neat and clean as well. All the rich kids here in America are nasty and never smile and the kids here take no pride in their appearance. Just a thought.
